Shelton State Community College is offering preparatory training for Wastewater Plant Operator Certification. Certified operators are a critical part of providing an adequate and safe supply of water to consumers. They are typically responsible for a variety of tasks centered around operating and maintaining a system or plant.
Who should attend this training?
This course is intended for individuals who are currently working toward obtaining a certification in Grades 3 and/ or 4 Wastewater Treatment systems. This training is also useful for certified operators who need refresher training in wastewater processes.
This course is designed using the Sacramento State Office of Water Programs (OWP) training manuals and Water Environment Federation (WEF) training manuals as reference materials.
Course delivery: In-person or Webinar via Zoom or similar platform (must have internet access)
Course duration: 60 Hours.
