Theatre
The Shelton State Theatre Department offers students education, training, and experience in theatre performance and technical theatre. Through department productions and a unique partnership with Theatre Tuscaloosa, students gain practical experience working both onstage and backstage with a diverse faculty, professional theatre artists, and an experienced support staff in the 430 seat Bean-Brown Theatre. Students not only hone their craft in the classroom, but they also learn to apply it while being mentored in a professional environment. Be a part of the exciting things happening in theatre at Shelton State.
If you have a passion for theatre, we invite you to join us and become part of the Shelton State tradition.
