Sessions are scheduled for two weeks per session.  Classes will be online throughout the week and in person on the two Saturdays scheduled within each session.  Saturday classes will be held 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

You should receive an email providing class details and login instructions after registration. Please be sure to provide a valid and accessible email address in order to receive the proper class materials.

The paper and pencil ACT comes in two versions, the National ACT and the Residual ACT. Both versions are produced by the same company, and they are essentially the same tests. The main difference is the flexibility of scheduling testing dates and how the scores from each test may be used.  Residual ACT scores may not be used for any other purpose other than applying to Health Services Programs at Shelton State Community College.

Dates for the National ACT are determined by ACT. Test dates, registration information and ACT guidelines, may be viewed on the ACT Website. The National ACT is proctored on a Saturday. Shelton State Community College is registered as a National ACT testing site. SSCC’s test code is 000070.

Dates for the Residual ACT are determined by the Testing and Assessment Office at Shelton State Community College. The Residual ACT is proctored monthly on a weekday at the College. To register for a test session or view testing dates visit Residual ACT. Residual ACT scores may not be used for any other purpose other than applying to Health Services Programs at Shelton State Community College.

Shelton State Community College nor Bibb Medical Center are responsible for registering any student for the test.  It is the student’s responsibility to register and pay the required ACT fees.

Please select the REGISTER button within the table above for the session dates you choose.
